On a clear, sunnny day in November, Max took Patty on a morning coffee date to the beautiful, waterfront Abita Roast House in Madisonville. Unbenounced to Patty, Max had a ring strategically located in his jacket pocket. After a relaxing morning filled with coffee and of course a pastry or two, Max asked Patty if she'd like to take a picture with him in front of the water. Of course Patty said yes, because only on the rarest occasions does Max asks for his picture to be taken. Conveniently, Max's friend Jess had joined them for braekfast that morning and she was a more than willing photographer. After one picture was taken, Max pulled away from Patty and said, "Ok now one more picture." He slowly pulled out a red box and dropped to his knee. After a moment of awestruck silence and happy tears, Patty was finally able to muster up a very excited, "YES!" to his question of forever.
